About Pawsitive Steps AZ Inc

We are a small, but mighty! 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to training Mobility Assistance Dogs for those in need. We breed, raise, and train our working Great Danes right here on our Lucky 7 Ranch in the beautiful White Mountians of Arizona. We house all of the Danes in our home as part of our family. We match our finished Assistance Dogs to qualified applicants at no charge to them.

The Lucky 7 Ranch is homebase and headquarters to PSAZ.  Our home has been completely converted to best suit the needs of the Danes and PSAZ. Our yearly litter of Danes is born in a custom designed whelping box in our kitchen or next to the woodstove..depending on the weather. Our 40 acre High Desert Homestead is off grid and off the beaten path, yet still within a 2 days drive to all of the Western states for our applicants.

Does any one get a paycheck for working at PSAZ?

Nope..  We are truly a "non profit"

PSAZ is run solely by the dedication of our supporters. We could not do this with out them. All donations go directly into the progam and are tax deductible. Our goal is to have the program eventually pay for itself. We have a wish list on Amazon.com. Every little bit helps!  The more help we have to grow, the more Service Dogs we can train to help more people!

We will eventually be adding a "Store page" with all proceeds directly supporting PSAZ. We are making unique Service Dog and companion dog items with American sourced materials and made in the USA by PSAZ

Not yet!   Although Image and I are proud to be Partner Members of the International Association of Assistance Dog Partners.
We do however use the ADI guidelines for Service Dog training and Public Access Training. Coming soon to our Youtube channel, "Pawsitive Steps AZ" We will be videoing each of our finished Assistance Dogs completing their Basic Public Access tests using the ADI guidelines. We would love to find a ADI certified Tester in our area!!!

Are we ADI accredited?
